A one hour walk around Sidmouth , taking in the locations that gave inspiration to the towns literary heritage.

Starting and finishing at the Blue Plaque outside Winstone's independent bookshop, these literary walks mark independent Bookshop Week 19th -26th June.

Sidmouth has hosted and inspired a number of literary visitors , from Jane Austen, Elizabeth Barrett , JRR Tolkien and Rupert Brooke, and been immortalised in the John Betjeman poem Still Sidmouth, and the location of H.G.Wells' The Sea Raiders

Walks are guided by a Sidmouth museum guide Walk Leader and last about an hour.
